No free domains. I want a myname.com site and want to pay. Also, any website hosts I can run with. Please give links/names. Thanks in advance.

- www.godaddy.com As far as a simple website host, go with them. If you need something a little more complicated, try reading: http://reviews.cnet.com/Web_hosting/2001-6540_7-0.html?tag=cnetfd.dir Do your research on a web host before you decide to host with them. Steer clear of 1and1.com.
- These are the two best and cheapest I've found. (under $10 a year for domain, a little more for hosting.) http://www.1and1.com http://www.ipower.com
- Just go to this address: http://order.sbs.yahoo.com/ds/DomainSearchResults?.p=YD1&m=dom&.src=sbs&.promo=PASSPORTPLUS&d=webmarkpro If you need further help, please contact me: Yahoo: valyowm SKYPE: WebMarkPro Valentin Ivanov, Expert & Consultant Internet Marketing, Promotion & Advertising, http://www.intermarkpro.com
- godaddy.com
- here is a great website hosing thingy, just go to www.freeservers.com, it is free!!!, i use it all the time
- Believe me when i say i have done the research. Godaddy http://www.godaddy.com for your Domain and http://www.hostgator.com/ for your hosting ps Always go for a .com name
- There are couple of ways to buy a domain name. 1. Go to a domain registrar like 1and1 Internet and type in the domain name you are interested in to search to see if it is available for purchase. If the domain has not been registered then you can just following the instructions to register the domain yourself. 1and1 Internet offers the best domain package around for $5.99, which includes free 1GB email/Webmail, 5-page starter Web site and lots of tools/softwares to get you online. See a sample free Web site that comes with your 1and1 domain package at http://www.superfina.com 1and1 Internet also offers excellent web hosting packages. They start as low as $2.99 and comes with lots of softwares and tools to help you put your web site together and get it online! See sample web sites hosted by 1and1 Internet below: http://www.basicity.com http://www.metrobellevue.com 2. If the domain that you want is already registered by someone else then you can go to domain aftermarket such as Sedo to see if you can purchase it from its owner. Sedo is a gloabl marketplace for buying and selling domain names and Web sites. You can also park your domain name with Sedo and earn money. Another good domain aftermarket is Afternic.
- GoDaddy is the obvious answer for your domain name. The not so easy answer for the hosting is it depends. It depends on what you are going to do with the site. if its something simple, go with one of the free ones already mentioned. If you want a good site that supports mySQL, PHP5, and (I think) Ruby On Rails, and you don't want to pay much, go to http://freepgs.com. They are really cheap (one time registration fee, lifetime of service). and their customer support (email only) is top notch. I host two of my sites with them and never ran into issues. Try them out.
