Is it possible to submit just a domain name (no web site) to search engines? If so, is it free?
I have a domain name that forwards to another web page. I would like to submit my domain name to search engines so people can find it in searches, and they will be redirected to the forwarded web page. The domain name is totally relevant to the web page.

- It could be ! visit http://net-new.blogspot.com and also to visit http://netnew.spaces.live.com/ and search for
- So you have a website that you'd like for people to search for using keywords. Once they find that domain name in the searches they re-directed to the domain that actually has a website? If this is correct, you are setting up for your main site to be banned from the search engines.
- This "redirect" can be considered a doorway page and could get you banned from some search engines. Why can't you just get traffic on the real web page. I assume that you want increased traffic by using keywords and urls to trick the search engines inot sending traffic through your doorway page. This could me more of a problem than it is worth. Read the Google and Yahoo! webmaster guidelines before doing any search marketing.
