How many domain names can you attach to a website without being penalised by search engines?

1. there is no way to determine how many domain names point to one website. I use that all the time.
2. Unlimited - but if submitting sites eg. to DMOZ, most dictate that you do not have duplicate, mirror or identical content.
3. According to The Domainblog (http://www.thedomainblog.blogspot.com/), there's no penalty for doing so, the bad thing is register those domains in Google for example, saying they are different websites but in reality, the offer the same content.
