How secure is it to search for a domain name on the net before it is registered?

  1. Perfectly secure if you just go to Yahoo! domains and search from there.
  2. only if you got a firewall if it is safe
  3. why would you worry about security doing a simple search? The information is public and available at a lot of sites.
