guys please help me to undersand this computer term... URL,IP address,Domain Name,HOstin,Search Engine. im so confuse with it in a very technical deffinition... please explain it to me in very clear terms.. hope guys you can help me.. thank you very much for helping those who need your knowlege. godbless guys..

- 1. url is the address of a web site like http://www.yahoo.com. url address will include the parameters or folder of a domain / sub domain like answers.yahoo.com/question.... the difference with domain is that domain is the only name for a web site. like www.yahoo.com, www.mydomain.net etc 2. ip address is the address of a computer within a network (like 192.168.0. 50). a computer interacts using this address to identify the target computer. 3. domain name look at the point 1 4. hosting is a space to host your web files for a domain.. let's say you have a web site with domain www.mydomain.com. you will put your files into the hosting identified with your domain name. 5. search engines are web applications that index pages published in the internet. you will not find a page using a searh engine if the search engine has not index your page. 6. sorry my english is not so good.. lol
