I want to use 1&1 as a web host, but is their web design software very good or are there good freebies ?

  1. I use 1 and 1 for my hosting. I have been a customer for over a year. They have a decent number of freebies (content catalog) and design tools, and you can;t complain considering how CHEAP it is. As usual, a person with web design experience will get much more out of it.
  2. I have two websites being hosted by 1&1. Their web design software is good for beginners to website design. However, I would suggest later learning some of your own HTML coding, and perhaps using Dreamweaver. I believe you can find some free demos of Dreamweaver on the net, or at least some older versions which should work fine. I personally like hand-coding, I get the best results that way, followed by Dreamweaver. Good luck!
  3. I'm also a 1and1 customer and think they offer a great service. We've just designed our website using their "Website Builder" and it was a piece of cake. Feel free to email us if you need any further advice.
  4. http://www.servage.net/?coupon=cust17560 coupon code: yaz the best webhosting deal on the net. been happy with them for two years.
  5. They are a bit expensive. Following webhosting site is quite good. Hostmonster http://snipurl.com/1512d They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 200000 MB (200 GB ). They only charge $4.95/month and they also offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you may create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well. Visit the site to check details. Hostmonster http://snipurl.com/1512d Domains Following site is quite good to register domains as price is reasonable with free privacy. Some charge about $5/ year just for free privacy. IPOWER http http://tinyurl.com/yk9h23
