Web hosting and easy design options?

I'm helping in redesigning a business webpage. Part of the process is getting rid of their current design company (it's poor and the company doesn't care). I need suggestions on 1) A reliable web host you have used. FTP is necessary.

1. I have used Yahoo Geocities for many many years, they have always done me well, and the FTP service is always fast. If that doesn't suit to your liking, check out WestHost.

4. I am using Netfirms Business Plan since it has support for both Linux and Windows hosting. I have no issues with it and it has FTP access. You also get NetObjects Fusion 8 for free for designing your website. 5. Check out http://www.myownfreeweb.com/ which comes with 250MB disk space, and 6 GB bandwidth, plus FTP, PHP, email, webmail, POP, etc, all for FREE. If you need more you can upgrade for as little as $2.99.

7. If you are serious about websites either for personal or your business, don't go to free web hosting as they are usually not reliable and you may end up losing all your hard work. Free web hosts usually put advertisements on your websites and it could be annoying. If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account. 9. I am using bluehost webhosting for my web site since its inexpensive and reliable . I signedup with bluehost webhosting seven months back and i am very satisfied with bluehost webhosting.I have not faced any problem with bluehost yet , FTP access is fast and reliable , my website is loaded fast, and i have not experienced any downtime yet.
