Web design company. How to attract new clients?

I work for a web design company as a project manager. I find clients to use our services all over the place. Some of them find me. Others are found by luck I would say. However, I would like to have some kind of a pattern. Do you know what to start with? Any blueprint? Or should I simply continue on looking for clients all over the place?

4. All kinds of clients need web sites... there's no real way to peg a certain industry as needing websites. The best way, I would say, is to advertise in as many mediums as possible (or as feasible), because web site requests come from every angle; a single client looking for a portfolio page to huge corporations looking for an online presence.

6. I am in the internet movie business myself. So far my best place for clients has been from MySpace, and various message boards like this one. So I would say advertise everywhere you can.

8. I don't know the name of any of the companies that do this, but there are companies out there that will sale you email lists and some of them have programs you can buy to control your incoming mail.
