Absolutely FREE domain names with no ads and no having to complete offers...t?

I'm looking for a FREE for life domain name that is a regular one like .com or .us not something like .co.cc.98127gfyefvdbuvb. There must be no offers that I have to complete and no ads. And don't tell me there are none like that out there because I KNOW there are, I've used on before but it is on my broken laptop and I forgot the name. THanks

1. I don't know of any personally that are completely ad-free, but you don't need to complete any special offers for anything for the true, reliable site hosts. You can try Geocities, Angelfire, or ones that I've been using recently are free-space (free-space.net) and freetzi (freetzi.com) which I have found to be really good, at least for me personally.

3. With your requirements, there is no way for you to get a free domain. You say that you got a domain from a site, but you forgot where you got it from. If that were really true, and it met your existing requirements, you can still access your domain through your ftp program and cpanel. If it did not meet your requirements, then you don't know for sure if there is a site out there that meets your needs NOW. In another question, you stated that you were 14. If you really did get a domain, then you would have had to fill out your personal information. Your full name. Your email. Your address. Your phone number. Did you get your parent's permission to do this? See, when you register your domain and fill out your personal information, your personal information then becomes public domain. Anyone can search for your personal information just by looking up your domain through a whois database. I seriously doubt you even got a free domain name, let alone your validation that a site that gives away free domains actually exists. The truth is, there is no way to get a free domain. In order for a company to sell domain names, they need to be approved by the ICANN, and they have to pay yearly fees to stay approved, other various fees, not to mention, a fee for each domain they register. No company can afford to just give away domain names for free for a year, let alone forever. Subdomains are free, domains are not. I am willing to bet you $100 that you will never find a site that meets your current requirements. And you know that I am right.
