Are there any free web hosting services which will allow me to host my .com domain for free?
If I were to purchase a .com or .ca domain name for a year, would I be able to host the domain for free? Doesn't hosting a top level domain require a monthly or yearly fee as well? If not, where can I do this? Thanks.

- I suggest you have a look at http://www.hosting24.com they will register a domain name for free for life and come with unlimited webspace and unlimited data transfer and you can go with them on a monthly basis. They also have a very useful website building wizard that can help you build your site. Also when you sign up with them if you enter in a discount code they will give you 25% off their ridiculously cheap hosting plans. code to use is 25OFF I host all my sites there and have been more than pleased with their help and support which is available by phone support! I hope this helps Lou
- Go to http://www.myownfreeweb.com and you can host your own domain for free, or use one of their subdomains for free. You can also set up a free CO.CC top level domain when you sign up.
- A .com domain would cost you nearly $10/year. Hundreds of Free webhosts exist but most features required to properly run a website are disabled for free accounts, resulting in a non usable service. I suggest that you opt for any low cost shared hosting like http://www.webhostingpad.com/2093.html. Everything unlimited & for $3 something, you also get a domain free for life, so no need to pay $10 each year. You will find everything unlimited here at a very low price. i myself have 13 websites hosted under one account with decent traffic. You can read a review here: http://hostingwebsitecoupons.com/webhostingpad. Next you would need to install any Open Source web CMS like Joomla (Maximum websites in the world ever are hosted using joomla), Wordpress, Drupal etc. This site would help you with instant install. Its damn simple. Next you need to read free tutorials & simply work through the interface on your chosen web CMS. I assure you, these are very simple, have great community support & will work brilliantly for you. ofcourse you will have to spend some time. So the very next thing is buy webspace & start working on refining the look of your site If you still have questions you can write to me in person: earthtechie[at]gmail.com. Thats enough from my side, you see i am a great guy :D, now give me the best answer ranking & do as i say :p ... God Bless. Mangal. PS: Buy web space asap & start testing. It takes time to have a website you can offer your customers.
