Do I need any type of license for commercial web hosting in India?
I need to start Web hosting on commercial basis. So do I need any kind of license from any one (like government) to start my business of web hosting? Or I just need the software licenses and nothing more?

- Well if you want to launch your own website which will have your own machine as the data server then you certainly need an unique IP address for your site.And for that you will have to buy two years validity contract from WWW for launching it.That will be the license itself.And of course you'll have to abide by the IT rules of e-business.
