What is the best free web building software, and what is the best free web hosting service?
I would like to put up a simple website to sell a booklet that i've written. No it is not an e-booklet-i am only selling hard copies. I would like to use a free website building software- one that is very easy to use, and i would like free web hosting, but one that does not put up ads on my sight. Any suggestions?

- good question; there's tons of free hosts out there. check this out: http://www.free-webhosts.com/free-web-hosting.php it'll list you all the free hosts online, with a table showing what features each host provides. you can register as many accounts with as many hosts as you'd like until you find the right one. as for the design software; i don't know of free editors; i've used coffeecup html editor which was free at one point but i'm a dreamweaver person; prior to that i used to love frontpage in the basic html days before the flash hype. i recommend go to download.com and look up html editor; sort filter by freeware and you'll find tons of freeones. good luck@your venture

- You already have a free and really powerful web design software on your computer, it's called Notepad. You can also use Wordpad or Word. After you create your web pages you will need a host. I can recommend a great host that I have used for my web sites: visit http://www.myownfreeweb.com where you can get free web hosting, free top level domain, web mail, POP, HTML, PHP, MySQL, Databases, 29 preinstalled scripts so you don't have to install or program them yourself, and a free online web builder (web designer) and it's all FREE!!! Go check it out.

- There are many web hosting providers and you might become confused to choose which one. It is very important that you choose a good web host. Good doesn't mean expensive. Good means reliable with great support. Some people try to save money and choose to go with a free web host. They usually realize pretty quickly what a huge mistake that is. I’m all for free whenever possible, but free web hosting will end up costing much more than you save. But, let's face it - how do you know if a web host is good or not? They all look pretty much the same and they seem like they know what they are doing, right? Well, I recommend reading reviews so that you may compare and become more familiar with the hosting companies before making a decision. When you choose a web host, make sure they have excellent support. If you have a problem with your web site you want help now, not in a day or two.

- Right now, Microsoft has a good offer for anyone looking to strike out and start a website. Microsoft Office Live, which is a set of internet and web services for small businesses and consumers, is offering a free year of web hosting and domain registration. It looks like you can choose from .com, .net, .org, and .net domains. Private domain registration is included, and you will be able to set up as many as 100 free email accounts for your domain. You will also find that they offer tools (like templates), resources, and step-by-step instructions on how to get your website off the ground -- something to keep in mind if you're not too familiar with building a website. This is a promotional offer and you will need to provide credit card information. After the free year, the services will cost $15.99 per year. http://smallbusiness.officelive.com
- Hey, I think this information can be useful for you. If you plan to get your website, here is one good free web hosting provider to choose - 000webhost.com They provide hosting absolutely free, there is no catch. You get 1500 MB of disk space and 100 GB bandwidth. 1500 is very rare to find for a free web hosting site. They also have cPanel control panel which is amazing and easy to use website builder. Moreover, there is no any kind of advertising on your pages. I use it for my business and it's the best one I found, and I have tried MANY free web hosting sites! As for money, you can post google Ads that relate to the dessert that your're selling -- don't worry post any AD and Google would pick up on the keyword: Dessert!!
