Quantumlinx Anybody heard about these guys?? They do Search Engine Marketing and Optimization?

Their website, http://www.quantumlinx.com.au/index.php , seems too good to be true. Very cheap. Just wondering if anyone had dealt with them or heard feedback about their services.

1. Search engine optimization and marketing is something that you should never pay someone else to do, UNTIL you have done some yourself. The reason I say this is twofold - first, you'll have a better understanding of what you're looking to accomplish, and two, you'll be able to spot the phoneys a lot easier (and there's more phoneys that real SEO/SEM companies). The best company I've personally dealt with was SiteSell. They're fairly expensive, but you get results - really good results depending on the subject of the site. Basic SEO is easy for anyone to do. It's time-consuming, and sometimes tedious, but still fairly easy. Keyword research is priority #1, before ever building the site. SEO as an afterthought can be a re-writing nightmare. With the right content, and basic SEO practices, any site can do well - but it takes work, and lots of it. Patience as well - no site will just jump to the top in searches over night - it takes quality content, and popularity - the more sites that link back to yours, the better.
