How can I use my Yahoo Domain name on my Google web site and Word Press Blog?

I have a free Google Web Site and a free Word Press Blog, I want to use my domain name I got from Yahoo for them to keep from using such a long name for either. Can anyone help me with this? I have tried for about four hours now to learn how to do this and I am really confused about what I need to do.
