Should I buy multiple domain names?

I have a business that I am starting on the net, should I buy into more than one domain name ?

3. This is a good question you have asked. It is worthy buying a domain name in various versions of extensions. Don’t overrate dot com only. If you purchase a dot com name ensure that you have dot net, dot org TLDs versions of your name because if another person registers the same name using a dot net or dot org TLD then you will be competing with him/her in terms of traffic( you will be losing traffic to that competitor). Again, consider registering synonyms and forward them to the primary domain name so as to boost your website traffic. You do this because the more domain names that you have leading (forwarded) to your website the more the search engines bots are going to index your website. Remember not to go overboard about this.
