I paid for one year of web hosting and now my web host is not providing the service I paid for. What can I do?
I am a piano teacher and paid for 1 year of web hosting with PracticeSpot.com, an Australian company online. I built the site and it was great, but 2 months later I could no longer login. The sites security certificate had expired preventing anyone from logging in. Other piano teachers have had the same issue. We are now all locked out of our websites and cannot login to change or update anything. We only used the service for 2 months but paid for a year. The company will not return emails or phone calls and they have taken most of the contact info off their site. Is there anything else I can do to get my money back or to put legal pressure on them to provide the service that was paid for?

- Hey, you should try to reverse the payment if you paid with paypal you usually have up to 90 days after a payment to open a dispute. Sadly thats the most that you can do and I would advise you to go to a trusted web host next time like Hosterbox.com Hope this helps you and best of luck!
- go with www.1dollarhoster.com, there are no contracts and its a cpanel host.
- I think they scammed you ... Because you said they have taken most of the contact info off their site ...But you try a reverse PayPal to get back the Amount..I suggest You to Register Domain,Build website,Host the site in Legal, safe, secure website hereafter,i hosted my site in Unlimited Hosting Plan at http://www.thewebpole.com/twp/domain-web-hosting/ at low cost, they providing good service since 2 years...the 24x7 help desk support is very Good...So you can also proceed there to host the website and and other service buying...
