Do you charge sales tax on Web Design/Software Consulting services in New York?

1. In Canada I'd say yes because that's why they(government) made the GST. The GST stands for Goods and Services Tax where the PST (Provincial Sales Tax) didn't cover services such as moving and other services that the PST didn't cover. Government is trying to screw us every which way and they have the gall to wonder why we don't want to pay taxes, especially when there able to find money for them selves. Such as our last Prime Minister Jean Chretien who globe trotted he world on a Canadian jet before he retired and at 10grand an hour to run the jet. I don't mind paying taxes for what we get but we can't retire till 65 and we a lousy meager pension when politicians wine and dine on our hard earned money and retire to full pension of a working person after only 5 years in politics not a bad gig if you don't mind being shallow.
