The SEOchat site seems like a great match for your question's "title," but after reading the whole question, I suspect you've just used "SEM search engine marketing" as a buzzword, and you want help learning or improving all aspects of online marketing. There are many online discussion groups, forums, and email discussion lists about marketing. Not surprisingly, the most common topic of discussion is "search marketing," which is really two separate-but-tightly-related activities, "paid search" (ppc, adwords) and "search engine optimization" (seo). Two groups that I actively read each day are: LED-Digest http://www.LED-Digest.com/ and SEM2 http://groups.google.com/group/SEM2 These are both lists primarily for experienced marketers and business owners.
