You will find none. The best you can hope for is a domain in the format xxxxx.sitename.com. Where xxxxx will be your ID. You will still have to register. It is impossible to get a domain name without registering. ɦəlʞɹɐq
Outside of getting a webhost service like from bravenet.com, and since you have a yahoo account, you should be able to use geocities.com as another option. with both,there will always be ads unless you pay not to have them.
Whenever people ask this question and specify that they want to have the domain name for free FOREVER, I silently laugh inside... It is virtually impossible for a company to make a website that gives away free domain names to everyone for a year, let alone forever. Look at it from a business standpoint. A freeserver is a free service provided by a company to host websites for absolutely no cost. Part of the reason why it's free is because they can just stick you on a subdomain and call it a day. This virtually costs nothing to them. Domain names cost money. In order for a freeserver to provide free domains for everyone, the company would have to buy them. It's going to cost them millions per YEAR in order for them to do this. So yeah...the company will go bankrupt in less than a year if they decide to do this. If someone with about let's say....a spare 50 billion decides to do this, then YAY...but you know that's never going to happen.
