Verisign is the .com and .net official registrar. What about .org, .us, .info, .biz, .bz?

2. http://www.godaddy.com/ is considered #1 for purchasing domains, you can almost get any extension domain from here. It is quick and simple too
3. You can go to freewebs.com, or you can just use any other domian name place. It doesn't have to be a .com or .net, they have options depending on what you want your site for.
4. Search for a web host. Google the following: Web Hosts .org Web Host .us Web Host .info Web Host .biz Web HHost .bz Web Host Get a .org Domain Name .org Get a .us Domain Name .us Get a .info Domain Name .info Get a .biz Domain Name.biz Get a .bz Domain name .bz Perhaps you can try a few other combinations, I'm soon you'll find something soon. 6. 1 and 1 will give you a free .info domain. http://www.1and1.com/?k_id=8292866 But you can register whatever domain you want. Go Daddy is very popular, but no free domains. https://www.godaddy.com
