I obtaines a yahoo domain name only and want to design the website, how do I make it personal with photos?

I signed on with yahoo to get a domain name only. They have a Starter Web page wizard that only allows text. I want to add photos and have multiple pages, how do I access the webpage to make those changes? Do I have to sign on for a monthly plan to get these options?
